CAGE
This body of work is a personal reflection on women's predicament, created through the lens of my experience as an Asian woman. Each image is carefully constructed and deliberately staged—not to document a specific moment, but to reflect the countless scenes I have quietly observed and felt in everyday life.
With these photographs, I invite more empathy and space for women to simply exist as they are. Women are often expected to carry so much, even when they’re barely holding themselves together. And yet, they endure.
I don’t want these images to be seen as a snapshot of someone else’s life. I hope they serve as a gentle reminder of something familiar—something you’ve witnessed, experienced, or perhaps once felt yourself.
